We offer training at times that will enable you to fit your studies around work, including twilight sessions (6.00 - 9.00 pm) and weekend courses.

Everything you need to get started

Starter kits are available with every course. Each kit contains all the best materials and equipment needed to start delivering the service. Please check the information on your specific course for further details and costs.

We provide ongoing support after you graduate

We care about your training and believe that once you’ve become part of our family it is important for you to have ongoing support to answer any questions and concerns you may have and keep you up to date with the latest developments. We will provide you with a dedicated email box to contact us for support and all our graduates receive our monthly newsletter, including hints tips and special offers.

Frequently Asked Questions

All our programmes are accredited and in most instances your certificate will be issued on the day. However, if this isn’t possible you will receive your certificate within 7 days of completing the programme.

We are pleased to accept a number of payment methods, including Stripe, Bacs, & Paypal. You can pay via the website. If you have any problems please contact us for help.

No, you are not required to provide models. We think it’s important for you to experience the treatments that you will be performing and therefore our students learn by practising on each other. This will help you to understand more about the techniques from both the therapist and client perspective.
All of our prices are for fully inclusive packages, including a training manual. Starter kits are available at an additional cost if required.
Assessment will be carried out throughout the programme. The tutor will observe you carrying out the treatments, assessing your product application and the end result of the treatment.

Yes we can deliver training at your salon, either on a one to one basis or for the whole team.  Please contact us by email or phone to get a travel quote.

We provide refreshments and a light lunch for our full day students. Please let us know if you are vegetarian or have any special dietary requirements.

For short course we will provide refreshments (tea, coffee and water)

We have a separate kitchen, including a microwave. Students are welcome to use the facilities during breaks, before or after the course.

To provide a personalised training package we only have a limited number of places available on each course. For this reason, we take a non refundable deposit. This ensures that your place on the course is secured and protects us against last minute cancellations. (Please see individual course details for prices and deposits). The full balance of the course fee is due 2 weeks prior to training. We know that sometimes things can change. If you have to alter your plans please contact us as soon as possible and we will do what we can to offer your place to candidates on our waiting list. If we manage to find a replacement we will be able to offer you another place on a future programme without loss of deposit.
We run bespoke refresher courses for therapists returning to the industry after a career break or those that would like to develop their skills and confidence in specific areas. Please contact us to discuss your needs and we can agree a tailored package of individualised support. Our Training Compact It is important for us to make sure that all of our students have a positive experience at the Liverpool School of Beauty. We ask that anyone attending our centre respects our students and team members by complying with the terms of our student compact. We know that sometimes things can change. Code of conduct

Respect

Everyone at the centre deserves to be treated with respect. We want this to be a positive experience. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the training please raise this with your tutor outside of the session.

Punctuality

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the programme. We understand that sometimes things happen that can’t be avoided. Please contact us if you are running late . We won’t be able to delay the programme, but we’ll try to help you to catch up.

Smoking

Smoking isn’t allowed in the centre.

Phones

Please turn off your phone during training sessions. This is your time to invest in you! Don’t get disturbed and don’t disturb the rest of the class.

Dress Code

Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing (No open toed shoes).

Nails

Nails must be cut short to avoid any injury when practicing treatments.

Jewellery

Please remove any jewellery that could get in the way when delivering treatments

Hair

Hair must be tied back if medium to long length.

Emma Hope-Roberts

Director of Training

Emma has worked in the beauty industry since 2002 and has owned and run a successful beauty business for the last 18 years. She is a fully qualified teacher and beauty therapist, holding a Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy and a Certificate in Education.  Emma has continued to invest in her professional development throughout her career, keeping up to date with current trends and new techniques.  She is an outstanding tutor and is passionate about helping her students to develop the skills needed to progress in their careers.
